This is honestly the kind of mindset I operate with as a teacher and the kind of students I get. If you can think outside the box, fair enough.

Teaching is such a lesson in writing clearly and precisely. I once had a test question “__________ are rod-shaped bacteria.” A student’s answer? “Rod-shaped bacteria.”
